The Braham City Council voted to keep current regulations regarding tarp structures.
Several citizens in Braham last month had voiced their concerns regarding the prohibited tarp storage structures, wishing to see it reworked to allow professionally built and maintained structures to be allowed for those with insufficient garage space and more storage on property.
The city sent the ordinance to the planning commission where numerous citizens voiced their opposition to any changes, including numerous current and former city officials.
City officials also wanted to make sure that the ordinance was being properly enforced and will be notifying homeowners with structures that tear down will need to be done.
