A hostage situation in Danbury, Wisconsin ended without incident early Tuesday morning.
According to the Burnett County Sheriff's Office, a juvenile threatened the use of a gun on passerby after they stopped to see if the juvenile needed help around 4:00 a.m. The suspect then took over the vehicle and threatened to shoot the vehicle's owner.
A perimeter was set up by law enforcement as the vehicle moved to several locations before stopping, allowing the suspect to be taken into custody.
No one was reported as being harmed in the event, and the investigation remains ongoing. The Burnett County Sheriff's Office says that it will not release the juvenile's identity.
