The Cambridge-Isanti School District will seek nearly $124 million in a special referendum election on Nov. 4.
The district's school board unanimously approved going out for the referendum at a meeting on June 26.
The ballot will include two questions for voters to consider.
The first seeks $87.1 million to invest across all school sites, including expanding capacity at the elementary buildings, updating secure entrances and accessibility, addressing aging infrastructure and deferred maintenance, and improving athletic and activity facilities.
The second question is contingent on Question 1 passing, and proposes an additional $36.475 million investment to build a new indoor fieldhouse at Cambridge-Isanti High School.
