Foley Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 12:15 p.m.
Predictions are that there will be heavy snowfall once it begins. Snow is to begin at approximately 10 a.m. and is predicted to continue to 6 p.m.
Plows will be out during the day on paved roads primarily depending on conditions.
Some area schools have a two-tiered busing system where an early dismissal would mean some buses leave as late as 1:40 p.m. and they may be making the decision to cancel as an early dismissal will not help.
As always, should you feel as though you want to keep your children home, just call in to school and excuse them.
All students dismissed at 12:15 pm. (no PM preschool).
No practice/play on Tuesday. Fieldhouse/Fitness Center closed. Falcon Kids Care will remain open until all students are picked up. Parents are asked to pick up as early as they can (pick up by 3 p.m.)
Milaca Public Schools closed at 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 3. Regular school transportation will be running. Afternoon pre-K, after-school activities, and childcare programs (Wrap Around Care and Kids' Town) have been canceled. This includes the school board's reorganizational meeting that will be tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 4.
