The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest last week Friday which yielded a large quality of meth.
According to authorities, an off-duty officer spotted the vehicle of 51-year-old Shane Priem from Elk River, who had current warrants out for his arrest. The officer spotted Priem walking out of a gas station and made the arrest and began searching the vehicle.
During the search, authorities found drug paraphernalia, a digital scale and around eight point six ounces of methamphetamine.
Priem has been charged with two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and will await a court date.
