Two people are dead after a head-on collision in White Pine Township in Aitkin County Wednesday morning.
According to Minnesota State Patrol, A Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Highway 65 just south of Highway 27. The Camry went into the northbound lane, attempting to pass a Toyota Sienna. A Toyota Rav4 traveling northbound at the time went head on with the Camry.
The occupants of the Rav4, a 75 year old female and an 84 year old male from Jacobson, were pronounced deceased at the scene. The status of the driver of the Camry has yet to be determined.
