Highway 169 bridge project in Princeton reaches halfway point

A $7.3 million Highway 169 project in Princeton has reached the halfway point, after crews have completed repairs to the southbound bridges.

According to a MnDOT news release, work on the adjacent northbound bridges is slated to begin the week of Aug. 4.

The release states that head-to-head traffic will transition to the southbound side between 313th Avenue and Baxter Road.

That configuration will remain in place through late October.

The six-month project is to repair and replace the surface on eight bridges over North and South Rum River Drive, West Branch Rum River, and First Street.
