The Minnesota State Patrol has ruled out the vehicle of interest in a fatal Mille Lacs County hit-and-run crash.
In a statement on Wednesday, the state patrol said it is seeking new leads in the death of Onamia doctor Cathy Donovan.
On Nov. 13, 2023, Donovan was struck by a vehicle and killed on Highway 169 in Kathio Township, just south of Grand Casino Mille Lacs.
Mille Lacs County sheriff Kyle Burton said in an update last week that the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the case daily with its law enforcement partners.
A Tesla owned by an Edina man had been seized as part of a search warrant in connection to the crash.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
