Isanti County auditor-treasurer Struss announces resignation

Chad Struss, Isanti County’s auditor-treasurer and interim county administrator, has resigned from his positions effective July 22.

During the May 23 Committee of the Whole meeting, Struss announced that he accepted a job opportunity with the state of Minnesota.

"I'm committed to helping the board wrap up projects and create a smooth transition as possible for my successor as both the regular county administrator when that person starts and then the auditor-treasurer and chief financial officer positions," Struss said at the meeting.

Struss has worked for Isanti County for the past 16 years. He stepped into the role of interim county administrator after Julia Lines resigned in March.

The Isanti County Board of Commissioners will conduct interviews with finalists for the administrator position during their June 6th meeting.

Six candidates have been invited for interviews.
