The city of Isanti is moving forward with the addition of an archery range to the city’s park amenities.
Back in July of last year, council approved of the project and identified an area south of the dog park as an acceptable location.
The range will consist of 9 lanes ranging in shooting distance from 10 to 40 years with split rail fencing on the east west sides and a berm on the south to create a safety perimeter. Two light poles would also be added to increase visibility at night for the range and the dog park.
The project is expected to begin in the spring of this year at an estimated cost of $18,000.
