Jordan Fjosne Scores Four Goals in Rebels First Win

The MLWR boys hockey traveled up north to take on Ely this past Friday.


The opening period was filled with goals. The Timberwolves scored the first goal, but Jordan Fjosne tied it up. Ely scored one more goal before, Jordan Fjosne, Easton Hartl, and Henry Ribich scored the last three goals in the first to give the Rebels at 4-2 lead. Ribich, Jeff Cisar, and Dawson Fjosne scored three goals in the 2nd for the Rebels, with Dawson scoring his first career varsity goal. Ely would add a goal of their own near the end of the 2nd period. Going into the 3rd the Rebels had a 7-3 lead. MLWR scored three more goals in the 3rd. Henry Ribich had one of those goals to give him the hat trick. Jordan Fjosne would score twice in the 3rd, giving him four goals in the game. The Rebels dominated the Timberwolves to get their first win of the season in a 10-3 blowout. Jordan Fjosne had a total of seven points ( 4 goals, 3 assists) in the game.


The Rebels will be back in action on Tuesday. They will travel to Proctor to take on the Rails at 7pm.
