Mille Lacs County Holding Hazardous Waste Drop-offs

Mille Lacs County will be hosting two Household Hazardous Waste events for residents looking to safely dispose of wastes, electronics and old appliances.


The collection will accept all hazardous materials including pesticides, paint, auto chemicals, alkaline batteries and much more. There are costs associated with the drop off of electronics and appliances. Proof of residence is required to drop off items and no material will be taken from area businesses.


The first event will be take place on Thursday, June 2nd at the Mille Lacs County Public Works Shop in Milaca from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second will be taking place on Thursday, June 9th at the Mille Lacs County North Maintenance Facility in Wahkon from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
