The Isanti County Sheriff's Office and the City of Isanti Police Department announced this morning that they have discovered the body of 32-year-old Amanda Jo Vangrinsven.
Authorities reported that during the evening hours of Tuesday, August 10th, investigators were executing a search warrant on the 300 block of 261st Avenue NW in Athens Township when an adult female body was discovered on the property.
Based on the evidence located at the scene, it was believed that the individual was Amanda. Officials will continue to work with the Medical Examiner's Office to determine cause of death.
Currently, no one is in custody and there does not appear to be a threat to the public at this time.
The family has been notified of all details and asks that everyone respect their privacy at this difficult time.
