The Mora girls wrestling team competed in their first ever individual section championship this past Saturday.
Mora's Nora Houglum(120) and Lindsey Nosbush(152) placed 2nd in their classes and punched their tickets to the state tournament! They have also placed top 4 in the entire state! They will wrestle March 3-5 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul in state semi finals.
Out of the 8 wrestlers Mora brought to the championships 6 of them placed in the top 6!
Molly Holmgren(107) 6th, Violet Peterson(132) 5th, Lindsay Sigstad(138) 5th, Annabel McGriff(145) 6th, including Houglum and Noshbush.
