Mora Looks At North Grove For Reconstruction

The city of Mora will begin preparation for a proposed reconstruction project on North Grove Street.

Council and the Public Utilities Commission had identified North Grove Street as a priority project to be completed in the near future.

The project would look to completely reconstructed everything from the road and sidewalks to lighting and storm sewer from Maple Avenue to West Central Avenue at a preliminary cost of $1.35 million dollars.

The project would also consider expanding the scope of the reconstruction for the two blocks south of Maple for an additional $600,000.

Council approved of a feasibility study for the project earlier in September and expect to hear results sometime in mid-November.
