Mora Man Drives into Snake River

An accident in Kanabec County sent one vehicle off the road last Thursday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Buick was traveling northbound on Highway 65 in Knife Lake Township just north of Mora when the vehicle suddenly went off the road.

The vehicle traveled and eventually came it rest in the Snake River, authorities were able to get the vehicle out of the water.

The driver, an 89-year-old male from Mora was transported to Welia Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
