Mora Receives Donation For Pavilion Revamp

The city of Mora and the Lions Club of Ogilvie and Mora are working together on a special project in store for the city.

The city presented a plan to the organizations to assist in rebuilding the pavilion on Railroad Avenue between City Hall and Kev’s Depot.

The city would like to bring it up to ADA compliance, double the size to allow for two picnic tables and a bench as well as double the size of the parking lot.

The city also proposed a new pavilion project that would go up at the new Fox Run Park as well.

The Lions Club was generous enough to donate $10,000 to the project, council and the Lions Organization will continue to work out more details for the project.

No set date or timeline has been established.
