Mora School District Seeks Community Input in Superintendent Search

The Mora Public School district is looking for community input as they search for its new superintendent. The search follows the December resignation of Craig Shultz, who served as superintendent for the district for over 11 years.

The Mora School Board is currently seeking input from the school district's staff and community to aid in the search. The information collected will be used to help shape the interview questions.

The board will be holding two community forum sessions for staff and Mora community members to give their input. The first session will be held on Monday, February 3, at 6 p.m. in the Mora Elementary School Media Center, and the second will be held on Tuesday, February 4, at 10:30 a.m. in the Basement Meeting Rooms 3 and 4 of the Kanabec County Courthouse.

As part of the search, an online survey is being conducted by the district. To complete the online survey, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MoraSuptSearch. The survey may also be accessed from the district’s website at http://moraisd.ss11.sharpschool.com/home.

A hard copy of the survey is available in the Mora Public Schools' main office at 400 Maple Avenue East.

Both the online and hard copy must be completed and turned in by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020.
