Mora Public Schools are set to begin in-person teaching by the middle of January.
The school district has been working with state and local officials, as well as the Minnesota Department of Education, to create a plan for bringing students back into the classrooms.
In a letter to parents, Mora Superintendent Dan Voce outlined the transition with a start date of January 19th for early learning and ending with all students back to in-person learning by February 16th.
Mora High School Principal Brent Nelson sat down with Rockin’ Robin on 95.5 KBEK and explained the transition plan, describing it as a "rolling start" with early learning students returning first.
The letter to parents states that the schools will still remain closed on Wednesdays which will still be distance learning for all students and that Covid guidelines will be in place for the students return.
You can find more information about the return to in-class teaching on the Mora Schools Facebook Page.
