Mora woman sustains life-threatening injuries in single-vehicle crash

A 32-year-old Mora woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Kanabec County on Tuesday morning.
According to the state patrol incident report, a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on 195th Avenue at Mahogany Street in Mora around 11:45 a.m.
The vehicle went off the road and onto the shoulder, overcorrected, struck a tree and rolled onto its roof, and caught fire.
The report states that passersby pulled the driver from the burning vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt.
She was flown to HCMC by North Air Care after sustaining life-threatening injuries.
The Kanabec County Sheriff's Office, Mora Fire Department, and Welia Ambulance also responded to the scene.
