A motorcyclist died in a fatal crash on Highway 169 near Rum River Drive in Princeton on Monday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling northbound on 169 was passing two other motorcycles at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate the curve to the right and went off the road.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 71-year-old Princeton resident Bruce Mikkelson.
According to the state patrol, he was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was involved.
North Memorial Ambulance, the Princeton Fire and Rescue Department, Princeton Police Department, and Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
