Mustangs Fall at Home

The Mustangs suffered their first loss of the season to the Gobblers on Friday night 48-0.

The Gobblers were a force on the ground getting into the end zone seven times running the ball. Parker Fulton scoring two of those in the first quarter from seven yards out. 

The Mustangs didn’t go away easily, however. Mora was able to get some yardage toward the end of the first half before getting stopped on fourth down. Sophomore Makhi Lyman was a spark on kickoffs, getting near midfield on multiple returns.

Aitkin will travel to Moose Lake to play the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels of Friday.

Mora will host Two Harbors on Friday night on 95.5FM KBEK.
