Mustangs Sweep East Central at Home

Coming off a 2-2 showing at their home tournament in the previous weekend, 14-9 Mora welcomed Great River Conference partner 2-18 East Central.

Mora, looking to finish the season strong, swept the Eagles 25-11. 25-12, and 25-15. The Mustangs were able to get contributions from up and down the roster. Some of the leaders include the Pine Insurance Agency player of the game, Mya Fix, who had an ace to go with six kills. Ashley Norberg led all players with nine kills on the night.

East Central was able to have some success as well. Kennadee Volk had five kills on the night, and both Hayden Loew and Aubirana Benjamin had two aces in the match.

East Central fell to 2-19 and will host McGregor on Monday night.

Mora improved to 15-9 on the season and will host Hibbing on Thursday night. That match will be on 95.5FM.
