Mustangs Win Section Game over Proctor

Mora hosted Proctor on Tuesday.

The Mustangs came into the finally week of the regular season as the #5 seed in the section. With a couple wins this week, they could potentially jump into the 3rd seed.

But it all started against the Rails. Things didn't start as well as they would've liked but they did get out to the early lead. But the Rails were able to play well and keep themselves close. As the 1st half moved along the Mustangs seemed to settle in alittle more and got into rhythm. They held onto their early lead and went into half leading 37-24.

The 2nd half saw both teams play well on both sides of the ball. The Mustangs continued to lead but the Rails would not go away quietly. Eventually Mora was able to get their defense rolling and threw off the Rails momentum. The Stangs offense fed off of the defense and they began to pull away. Eventually the lead was big enough with little time left in the game they were able to take their foot off the gas and get the bench players in. The Mustangs closed out the game with the win 68-51.
