The city of North Branch will be getting a new piece of art in the form of a mural.
The city had received a grant for the project and the mural will be placed on the now North Branch Water & Light building on County Road 30.
Current designs for the project describe the mural as “Growing North Branch” with a large sunset bracketed by trees and a river running through and under.
City council approved of the design and contract, the mural is expected to be completed by mid to late September.
