After several informational meetings and community input, the Ogilvie School District approved of submitting their four day school structure request to the state.
After nearly 10 years of the current structure, the district must reapply to the state to be approved to continue after the option had been removed back in 2015.
The application would allow for the district to continue to conduct school under the four day structure for next 3 years as long as academic and other expectations are met.
The Ogilvie School Board will continue to evaluate and affirm the structure every school year, the district will now wait for the Department of Education’s decision.
