Sherburne County is preparing for a reconstruction project of County State Aid Highway 33 between Auburn Street NW and County Highway 13 in Elk River. The project would look to be completed by 2023.
Early designs show that improvements will include improved right turn movement, reduced east & west travel time, and improved overall safety.
The county is currently holding a public engagement and virtual open house for residents to share thoughts and gather more information. Area residents and adjacent property owners are encouraged to review the material and voice their opinions.
