Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries after being struck in Mora

A man was seriously injured after being struck by a motorist in Mora on Wednesday.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Toyota Highlander traveling southbound on Highway 65 at around 5:30 p.m. struck a pedestrian who was crossing the highway east to west.


The crash occurred at McCarty Court.


The pedestrian was identified as 24-year-old Bruno resident Wally Murray. He was transported to North Memorial Robbinsdale for life-threatening injuries.


The driver was not injured in the crash.


The Kanabec County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
