From Pine County:
Pine County small businesses impacted by COVID-19 can apply to receive financial assistance to help with expenses incurred during the pandemic.
Grants will be provided to businesses financially impacted by the pandemic and reimburse direct costs up to $10,000 per business.
Businesses, including non-profit organizations that operate business-type enterprises, located within Pine County with 50 or fewer employees are eligible to apply.
The application period will be open starting at 8:00 a.m. August 10 and close at 4:00 p.m.
August 20. The application will be available on Pine County’s web page www.co.pine.mn.us.
The program is being administered by Pine County with assistance from the Initiative
Foundation.
Applications will be reviewed starting August 21 with approved grants paid in early
September.

Small business assistance comes from funds available to Pine County through the federal
CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act). A portion of the CARES
Act, a $2.2 trillion federal economic stimulus bill, is specifically allocated to assist small
businesses.
