From Princeton Fire & Rescue:
On 07-22-2021, at approximately 1211 Hours, the Princeton Police Department and Fire Department received a 911 call of a house explosion at 1009 8th Avenue North, City of Princeton, Mille Lacs County. Emergency personnel responded to the address to find a collapsed structure that was fully involved with fire. Emergency personnel discovered two injured adults outside of the residence who were reporting that a third adult victim was still inside the structure. A 39-year old female and a 59-year-old male both City of Princeton, Mille Lacs County residents were transported to Fairview Northland, Princeton with unknown injuries from the explosion and fire. The Princeton Fire Department quickly contained the fire and a third victim who has not yet been identified, was found deceased in the structure.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Princeton Fire Department, Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office, Princeton Police Department and Center Point Energy.
Assisting Princeton Fire and Police Department's were Mille Lacs County Sheriff Office, North Ambulance, Baldwin Fire Department, Milaca Fire Department, Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office, Princeton Public Works, Princeton Utility Company and Center Point Energy.
