Princeton motorcyclist killed in Sherburne County crash

A 42-year-old Princeton man was killed in a crash on Highway 169 in Sherburne County on Thursday.


According to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound on Highway 69 in Livonia Township before going into the median and crashing.


The driver, identified as Timothy Pittman, of Princeton, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center and was pronounced deceased.


His passenger, Jennifer Anderson of Circle Pines, was treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for non-life threatening injuries.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Pittman wasn't wearing a helmet.


The Elk River Police Department and Fire Department, Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, and Alina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
