Princeton Public Schools will have increased safety protocols at all buildings on Friday, Sept. 12, after an unverified threat on social media was directed at Princeton Middle School.
According to a notice from the district, school will remain in session, but there will be more police presence at each building.
The investigation into the threat is ongoing, and the person who posted the threat has not been identified by the Princeton Police Department.
If parents choose to keep their child home from school, the district will consider it an excused absence.
