Rum River Drive crash results in death of Cambridge motorist

A crash at Rum River Drive in Baldwin Township resulted in the death of a Cambridge motorist on Saturday afternoon.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chrysler Town and Country on the off ramp from Highway 169 left the roadway to the right, crossing Rum River Drive and striking a southbound Ford Expedition.


The Expedition crossed the center median and hit a dump trailer pulled by a Ford F250 traveling northbound on Rum River Drive.


The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 67-year-old Timothy Keller, of Cambridge, died as a result of the crash.


The driver and passenger of the Expedition were treated at Fairview Northland for non-life threatening injuries.


The Princeton Police Department, Princeton Fire, and North Memorial Ambulance assisted at the scene.
