Rural Cambridge man dies after motorcycle collides with deer

A 58-year-old resident of rural Cambridge died after his motorcycle collided with a deer on Tuesday night.
According to a news release from the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, a crash was reported near the 27000 block of Variolite Street Northwest in Stanford Township around 11:15 p.m.
First responders from the sheriff's office and Zimmerman Fire Department began lifesaving measures on the motorcycle operator, who was identified as William Windhauser.
Windhauser was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital from the scene of the crash.
The release states that, on Wednesday, the sheriff's office was notified that he died due to the extent of his injuries.
