Sherburne Sheriff's Office Awarded "Triple Crown" Status

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office has achieved “Triple Crown” accreditation status from the National Sheriffs’ Association, being one of only 50 sheriffs’ offices in the United States to do so.

The status comes with recognition from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections, the American Correctional Association and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.

The department received four total accreditation, three of them for the county’s jail operation and a fourth for the Sheriff’s Office 911 dispatch operation.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott stated that the accreditations are really a beginning for the department and will continue to follow best practices on a continual basis.
