A Princeton man is dead after a shooting incident took place in Mille Lacs County over the weekend.
According to a press release, county deputies were dispatched to 55th Street in Princeton Township Sunday evening after a report came through of a person being shot.
Authorities arrived on the scene and began administering first aid and lifesaving efforts on a male subject who had a gunshot wound in the chest. The male was later pronounced deceased at the scene and identified as 36-year-old Princeton resident Jordan Kelley.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office is currently still working the open investigation and will release more details at a later date.
