Work on Mora’s stormwater infrastructure and Maple Avenue reconstruction project will start this week, including tree removal and signage going up.
According to a notice from the city, the majority of construction will start on July 28, to avoid issues with traffic for the Kanabec County Fair.
Outlet pipe work will primarily take place near the intersection of North Park Street and West Maple Avenue.
This project is being coordinated with Kanabec County’s County Road 6 reconstruction, which includes sections of Maple Avenue from Union Street to Highway 47.
Residents should expect road closures, detours, and limited access to certain areas during construction.
The outlet pipe project is expected to be completed by late September or early October.
