Two are dead following a medical emergency in Isle on Wednesday, January 6.
According to Mille Lacs County Sheriff Don Lorge, responders were called out to Vista Road with the report of a resident experiencing a potential cardiac arrest. Life-saving measures were performed, but the patient did not survive.
While at the scene, one of the paramedics suffered started having difficulties and went into cardiac arrest. The Mille Lacs Messenger reports that the paramedic was taken to a hospital in Onamia and pronounced dead there.
No further details have been released at this time.
