Two-vehicle Highway 23 crash in Kanabec County sends three to hospital

A two-vehicle crash on Highway 23 in Kanabec County sent three people to the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
According to the state patrol incident report, a Buick Lucerne was at a stop sign on northbound Harbor Street in Arthur Township just before 4:15 p.m.
The vehicle pulled into the intersection and struck an oncoming Ford Freestar, which was pushed off the roadway. The Ford struck a stop sign and cable junction box.
The driver of the Buick, identified as 67-year-old Mora resident Thomas Parent, and a 92-year-old female passenger were treated at Welia Health in Mora for non-life threatening injuries.
The passenger of the Ford, a 36-year-old Coon Rapids woman, was also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
The Ogilvie Fire Department also responded to the scene.
