Wis. Woman Dead After Possible Drowning in Hinckley Bathtub

From the Pine County Sheriff's Office:


"On April 11 at 10:44 PM, Pine County 911 received a call of a medical at the America’s Best Hotel in Hinckley. Initial information was that a female may be drowning in a bathtub. Deputies and ambulance personnel arrived on the scene within minutes and found a woman in her 50’s unresponsive. Life-saving measures were initiated and the woman was airlifted to a hospital in the twin cities. The woman later died at the hospital.

A person accompanying the woman indicated she had been consuming alcohol before the incident and it is unclear at this time if she suffered a medical condition while in the tub.

The woman’s body was transferred to the medical examiner’s office and autopsy results are pending at the time. The deceased was a female in her 50’s from Wisconsin. Names are being withheld at this time pending family notification."
