Pine City Mayor Pederson Gives Update on Future Hotel

The proposed hotel in Pine City could become a reality sooner than later.

Early this week Pine City Mayor Carl Pederson among others met with a builder and developer and said that meeting signaled progress.

Pederson also mentioned that while there are wetlands on the proposed property, they won’t pose a problem.

The proposed hotel would be placed on the east side of the highway 11 exit on interstate 35, and could be built as soon as next year.

11th Annual Pine City Rodeo Coming Soon

The Pine City Rodeo is back in town once again this year.

The 11th annual Pine City rodeo is Saturday, September 2nd starting at 6pm and runs through Sunday as well.

If you don’t have tickets for the rodeo yet, you can give five dollars off admission by visiting the office at WCMP, but tickets are limited.

Pine Center for the Arts Offers new Show in September

A new offering of artwork is headed to the Pine Center for the Arts in September.

Starting September 8th, the gallery featuring oil and acrylic paintings will be open to the public.

Those who attend the opening night will see a variety of art, great conversation, wine and appetizers.

The event is free to the public.
