Ogilvie Public Schools superintendent Kathy Belsheim said absentee ballots are now available for the district’s Nov. 7 school board election.
During Monday’s school board meeting, Belsheim said the last day to pre-register for the general election will be Oct. 17.
Four seats will be up for grabs in the election. According to the district, incumbents Tim Peterson and Casey Heins are not seeking re-election.
Belsheim said voting will take place at the Ogilvie Civic Center, since state legislation bars the election from happening in the school building. Voting will go from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day.
She also said the district will need to select election judges prior to the next school board meeting.
