Bombers Fall to Mille Lacs

Great River Conference rivals faced off in a match on Thursday night. The Mille Lacs Raiders defeated the Braham Bomber 3-0, 26-24, 25-20, and 25-21.

Mille Lacs have seem to get their season on track, winning five of their last six. The Raiders showing great control for the entirety of the match proved to be the difference in this close meeting. While the Bombers matched fairly evenly to Mille Lacs, they failed to catch the Raiders out of position. 

Braham also had some positives coming out of the night. Getting some contributions from role players like the Pine Insurance Agency player of the game McKayla Carlson. While the Bombers are 3-14 on the season, they are relatively young and have been competitive in most matches they are involved in.

Mille Lacs will host Pine River-Backus on Monday.

Braham will host Aitkin on Tuesday night.
