Braham Falls to Mountain Iron-Buhl

A beautiful Saturday afternoon was the backdrop for the Section 7A semifinal between Mountain Iron-Buhl and Braham. This was a rematch of these two teams. The first meeting went Braham’s way as the Bombers defeated the Rangers 50-20.

Braham was quick to put points on the board. Senior quarterback Garrett Lidke threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to freshman Eli Benzen to put the Bombers up 6-0 in the early going.

After that, however, it was all Rangers. Braham was able to defend against the big plays, but Mountain Iron-Buhl was able to put together lengthy drives consistently. 

The Rangers will move on after their 38-6 win over the Bombers to face the Barnum version of Bombers on Halloween evening in the section championship.

Braham will finish the season 7-3.
