Braham hosted Mille Lacs on Thursday.
The Bombers were looking for another win over a section and conference opponent, while keeping the top spot in the section standings.
Right from tip off Braham was off and running. Their offense moved how they wanted to, pushing the pace and scoring at will. While the defense was nothing short of dominant. In the first nine minutes of the 1st half, the Bombers held the Raiders nearly scoreless. They forced a turnover on 85-90% of the Mille Lacs possessions in the first 10 or so minutes. They were able to turn most of those turnovers into transition offense and score in a hurry. The Bombers had seemingly everything going their way. But the Raiders continued to fight and try and get back into the game. While the lead was large, they were able to go on a few scoring runs and at least slow down the Bomber scoring. At the half Braham lead 50-22.
The 2nd half was much of the same for the Bombers, they continued to push the pace and simply execute their gameplan. They continued to build on their lead and most of the 2nd half was running clock. The game was all but sealed and Braham was able to step off the gas and work in the backups. Braham won the game 83-47.
