The Isanti County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man found in a Spencer Brook Township home on Wednesday.
According to a press release, law enforcement received a report of a person being shot at about 6:30 a.m.
Isanti County deputies arrived at the residence with Cambridge and Isanti police officers and confirmed one deceased male party in the home.
No other household members were harmed at the time of the incident.
The press release states that preliminary investigation indicated a targeted incident, and that there is no threat to the public.
The victim has been taken to the Midwest Medical Examiners Office for identification.
No arrests have been made, and a suspect has not been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
