The Bombers hosted Holdingford on Monday night.
The Huskers were able to get out to an early lead, and it felt they had swung all momentum their way. But it wasn't long before Braham was able to get on the board. After scoring, they turned up the pressure defensively going with the full court press. Holdingford struggled to get the ball up the court, and when they did the still weren't able to find many buckets. The Bombers forced a good chunk of turnovers and took over the lead. Now you can't play full court press al game, and they didn't need to. Their defense played so good, even when the Huskers found a breakout pass, Braham's speed helped them recover and still force an errant shot. Now both offenses did have their struggles in the 1st half it wasn't all good. Holdingford did have their fair share of good defensive play as well. But Braham went into halftime leading 27-20.
The Bombers continued to play well in the 2nd half on both sides of the ball, and lead for much of the 2nd half. But late in the 2nd half the Huskers found a rhythm they hadn't had since their lead in the 1st. Holdingford eventually even took over the lead and once again had momentum on their side. It was a short lived lead, as this seemed to spark the Bombers team and they finished the game on a 19-6 run. As the clock hit all zeros the Bombers had won 55-43.
The Bombers have now won their 4th straight game and improve to 5-1.
