Mora Schools Looking To Return To Hybrid Learning

Mora Schools announced they are looking to potentially return to hybrid style learning by the middle of January. In a parent communication letter from Mora Superintendent Dan Voce, the school has been working with Kanabec County Public Health to monitor Covid rates and have determined that schools should stay in distance learning for at least two weeks after the winter break.

Mora High School Principal Brent Nelson sat down with Rockin’ Robin on 95.5 KBEK and gave an idea of how the hybrid system works and the desire to get back to in-person teachings.

"That is our goal, we just need to keep seeing our Covid numbers go down." stated Nelson in the interview

Nelson also brought up winter sports and the possibility of a shorten and pushed back winter sports season. Mora Schools are looking to go to the hybrid style near January 19th, as long as rates continue to drop and guidelines are met.

You can find the Parent Communication letter, the listed guidelines and the hybrid style learning model on the Mora Public Schools Facebook Page.
