The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office responded to an explosion resulting in a house fire on Monday morning.
According to a press release, deputies arrived at the 34100 block of Puma Street NW in Wyanett Township at about 9:20 a.m.
A woman was found at the scene with burns to her body. She was airlifted to a medical facility for treatment. No one else was in the residence at the time of the incident.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the fire with the State Fire Marshal’s Office. The preliminary assessment is that the blaze was accidental in nature.
The Dalbo and Princeton Fire Departments and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
