A former Princeton teacher was sentenced to two days in jail and five years of probation after injuring an 8-year-old boy with a hockey stick in March of 2022.
Kimberley Neubauer was charged with third-degree assault last July, after surveillance video footage showed her throwing a hockey stick at a boy in gym class, resulting in dental damage.
Neubauer accepted a plea deal in December, according to court documents.
The school district put Neubauer on administrative leave on April 8, 2022, and her employment ended in early June.
In November, the family of the boy reached a settlement with the district on a lawsuit and were awarded $27,000.
